.Angela Stefano is a 2009 graduate of Boston University's College of Communication, but she knew long before that she was meant to be a writer.
It began with her first attempts at plays and poems in grammar school. Fortunately, Angela found her way to The Buffalo News and spent her four years of high school writing for NeXt, the paper's weekly, teen-oriented section -- interviewing musical artists and actors, reviewing concerts, and once even finding herself shadowing a fellow writer at an all-boys high school.
The big-city campus of BU (plus the awesome hockey team) was a logical pick for Angela. While in Boston, she worked stints for The Daily Free Press, BU's independent, student-run newspaper, and MySecretBoston.com. She also spent a year and a half as an intern for BostonBruins.com, covering team events and games, Development Camp, press conferences, Trade Deadline Day -- and the 2008 and 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Now back in her hometown of Buffalo, NY, Angela recently began working as a Senior Assistant at Citigroup. She also freelances for various publications and keeps a blog on WNYMedia.net.
Angela enjoys watching (not playing; that ends terribly) hockey, taking too many pictures, going to every concert she can, and the occasional chai latte from SpOt Coffee. She reads Rolling Stone cover-to-cover and (thanks to Dakota Watch Co.) can change any watch band or battery like a pro. Angela hates shorts, loves fall, and is dying to go to Las Vegas to see Garth Brooks perform. She's had her future home in San Francisco (the blue one with the fuchsia flowers on Lombard Street) picked out since she was about 12, but she wouldn't mind keeping to the East Coast, either.
